Paul Avery - Executive Vice President

Paul Avery has worked at James Avery for the past 17 years and currently serves as Executive Vice President for the company.  In this role, Paul works with Customer Service, Retail Development, Sales, and Marketing.  In addition, Paul works closely with the management group and is on the Board of Directors.

Prior to his current position in the company, Paul worked in several departments at James Avery including accounting, shipping, retail, corporate construction and maintenance.  He helped to design and develop the landscaping for the 40-acre James Avery campus in Kerrville, Texas.

Paul grew up in Cuero, Texas, attended Southwest Texas State University, and received an associate’s degree in horticulture from Texas State Technical College in Waco in 1986.

Paul is married to his wife of 21 years and they have two daughters, ages 12 and 17.  With a degree in horticulture, it is not surprising that Paul enjoys the outdoors, especially house projects, gardening, boating and fishing.
