James Avery
Alpha and Omega

The Alpha and Omega is 11/16" long. The symbolism of the alpha and the omega, are the first and last letters of the greek alphabet. The letters have been used since the fourth century expressing scriptural proof of Our Lord's divinity. In the book of Revelation, Christ calls Himself the Alpha and Omega in reference to His everlasting and almighty power. He meant that he existed before anything else and will exist after all else ceases. He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. The alpha and the omega in this charm are signs of totality. The message is comforting and direct: Our Lord has always been with us and will be with us forever.
