James Avery
Resurrection Pendant

The Resurrection Pendant is 1 1/8" long. Inspired by the life cycle of a butterfly, the Resurrection Pendant is a resurrection symbol. The lowly caterpillar represents man in his mortal state on earth. As a chrysalis, the butterfly seems lifeless but is in the process of being transformed. It is the parallel of man in the grave. The final stage, when the butterfly breaks out of the cocoon, is a symbol of the raising of the dead on the last day. When applied to Christ's resurrection, the three stages represent Christ as man, Christ in the tomb, and a glorious resurrected Christ.

This piece is laser engravable only.
